w/ Anna Boldt / Ambalema / 2019 / Intervention, interaction, installation
Together with Anna Boldt I was able to realize the project Miradas Borrosas in Ambalema, Colombia which is an experimental involvement with Google Street View, a service offered by the company Google. The project investigates on the local needs and questions of temporality and relations between the individuals and the representation on the internet.
Part of the research based project was a short story written by Anna and me which was read in a performance by Alfredo Martinez while he was driving through the village with his specially equipped car.
The other part of the project was an intervention with a movable wooden tower with a camera on its top. While moving with the tower through the village together with the locals we reconstructed and interpreted the images made by Google six years earlier.
